Adjunct Lecturer of Entrepreneurship, Kellogg; Cofounder, Clover Capital Partners

Alex Schneider, Kellogg '06, is an active investor, educator and advisor. As an investor, Alex is the cofounder of Clover Capital Partners, which owns several food-manufacturing businesses and Clover Vitality Fund, which makes growth equity investments primarily in emerging consumer products businesses. Prior to Clover, Alex spent over ten years in lower middle market private equity, most recently as an investment professional with Chicago-based Keystone Capital. At Keystone, Alex was involved in acquiring and owning businesses across a wide range of industries including professional services, healthcare and manufacturing.

Outside of the Clover investment vehicles, Alex is an active investor in entrepreneurship through acquisition and start-up ventures. As an educator, Alex has served as an adjunct lecturer of entrepreneurship at Kellogg since 2015. He created and teaches Kellogg’s entrepreneurship through acquisition course and serves as a co-lead of the ETA track of the Zell fellows program, a co-curricular program designed to provide additional experience and resources to a select cohort of Kellogg students committed to pursuing ETA after graduation. Both formally and informally, Alex is an advisor and mentor to students, searchers, CEOs, investors and funds in and around the private equity and ETA communities. Alex graduated from Northwestern University with a double major in mathematical methods in the social sciences and sociology and has an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.
