Anthony Walker is general partner at Next Coast Legacy, an Austin-based private investment firm focused on entrepreneurship through acquisition. He previously worked in investment research at Goldman Sachs, long-short equity portfolio management at Millennium Management and Citadel, and asset management at Ariel Investments.

In 2019, Walker cofounded Ellisen, a start-up supporting higher education institutions in recruiting and retaining diverse talent. He began his career in equity research at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers.

Walker holds a BA in economics and political science from Columbia University and an MBA from Chicago Booth. He serves as vice chairman of GreatSchools and sits on several other nonprofit boards.
