Brian Axelrad is a partner on Kilpatrick’s Mergers and Acquisitions, Securities, and Corporate (MASC) team and co-leads the subpractice groups for emerging companies, venture capital clients, search funds, and ETA. He frequently serves as day-to-day general counsel and advises a wide range of companies, investors, acquirers, and executives on strategic and milestone transactions, including venture capital and private equity financings as well as mergers and acquisitions.

In the ETA and search fund space, Axelrad established HMB Legal Counsel as a leading law firm in the sector. Following its merger with Kilpatrick, he continues to position the firm as a trusted partner for searchers from initial search through exit.
