Eric Roza is Executive-in-Residence with General Catalyst (one of the country’s leading Venture Capital firms) and serves as Chairman of TrueCoach (the leading SaaS platform for personal trainers). He recently stepped down as the General Manager of Oracle Data Cloud, a post he assumed following his sale of Datalogix to Oracle for $1.25B in 2015, delivering a 35x return to Series A investors in 5 years.
Roza led the team that built Datalogix/Oracle Data Cloud, into digital media’s leading data and analytics business, with 99.5% penetration of the top 200 US advertisers. His relentless focus on building a healthy, winning culture led Datalogix to be named one of the country’s best mid-sized companies to work for by both Fortune and Outside Magazines, and Roza was named 2014 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the Rocky Mountain region.
He was previously an executive with Asurion, and did prior stints at Bain, Intuit and several tech start-ups.
Roza is the co-founder of CrossFit Sanitas, repeatedly recognized as one of the country’s top 5 CrossFit gyms, and Chairman of TrueCoach, the leading SaaS platform for personal training. He serves on several boards and is an active investor in and mentor to high-growth leaders in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors.
Eric lives in Boulder and Vail, Colorado with his four children. In his “free” time, he skis, travels, helps old and new friends get happier and healthier, and performs as a singer/songwriter/ guitarist with his band, The House Cats.
Roza has a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Stanford.
