Ivana Naumovska holds a PhD in finance and management and is a tenured professor of entrepreneurship and family business at INSEAD, where she founded and leads the Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition and Search Funds Hub. She is also a founding partner of INSETA, a global investment fund that backs entrepreneurs pursuing acquisitions through ETA and search funds.
Having started her career in her family’s business, Naumovska combines hands-on entrepreneurial experience with academic rigor in her work on ownership, strategy, and entrepreneurial acquisitions. She has supported more than one hundred search funds and helped place numerous MBA graduates in roles with search funds and operating companies worldwide. Recognized as a leading expert on ETA, search funds, and SPACs, she was named among Poets & Quants’ “40 Under 40 Best MBA Professors” in 2024. Her research has appeared in Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, and Strategic Management
