Jason Jackson
In 2015, Jason Jackson and his partner, Olaide Lawal, launched Barah Capital, a traditional search fund. After an 18-month search, they acquired Detroit Dental and rebranded it as Unified Dental Partners in 2017. Over the following years, they scaled the business, growing EBITDA more than fourfold before exiting in 2023.
Following the sale, Jackson joined Futaleufu Partners, a long-time investor in traditional search funds. He is also the cofounder of the Black Search Network, which works to expand access to entrepreneurship through acquisition for Black entrepreneurs.
