Jeff Smith, Kellogg '16 is a principal at Shore Capital, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10M of EBITDA. Jeff’s responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating, and enabling the growth of Shore’s investments in the food and beverage industry and leading Shore Search Partners, Shore’s search fund investing strategy. Jeff currently sits on the board of OWS Foods, FB Solutions Group, Mosaic Flavors and Roaming Hunger and is a board observer for Comprehensive Mobile Care.
Prior to joining Shore, Jeff was a vice president at Ballast Point Ventures, a growth equity firm focused on investing in software and healthcare companies. Previously, Jeff worked at Arbor Investments, a food and beverage-focused private equity firm.
Jeff received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Finance from the Honors College at Michigan State University.
