Julien Ham-Ying
Julien Ham-Ying is dedicated to advancing opportunities for underrepresented communities, a passion inspired by his father’s career in providing healthcare to low-income populations. He began his career in healthcare investment banking at J.P. Morgan and in healthcare private equity at TPG Capital, where he worked on major transactions, including Monogram Health’s $160 million Series B raise and GE Healthcare’s $20 billion sale of its BioPharma division.
Beyond his investment work, Ham-Ying has been an active mentor and advocate for diverse professionals within his teams and across the industry. He serves on the National Leadership Council of Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO), one of the nation’s largest leadership development networks for diverse talent.
Ham-Ying holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was named an Arjay Miller Scholar, and a bachelor’s degree from Yale University.
