Kyle Coots, Kellogg ‘15, is a managing director and cofounder of Miramar Equity Partners. Prior to cofounding Miramar in 2018, Kyle worked at RedBird Capital Partners, a growth equity firm investing in close partnership with founders and entrepreneurs. Before joining RedBird, Kyle focused on investing in growth-oriented, middle market companies at Austin Ventures. Earlier in his career, Kyle served as a consultant at Bain & Company where he concentrated on turnarounds, growth strategies and performance improvement initiatives across many industries. He also previously worked as an analyst at TPG and an associate at PwC.
Kyle graduated with a BBA in accounting and finance and an MPA from the University of Texas at Austin. He received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. He serves on the board of Rainbow Days, a Dallas-based non-profit serving children in need in Dallas, where he lives with his wife, Kyla, and their three children.
