Rachel McGrath holds a BS and an MS in mechanical and ocean engineering from MIT. She worked in technical and engineering management roles at Chevron from 2011-2015, most notably as the engineering manager of one of the floating offshore oil platforms. She received her MBA with high distinction from HBS in 2017, then worked as an innovation consultant at Innosight until 2020. In 2020, she left Innosight to begin her search journey with a 9-month internship under Tim Meng at One Source Communications. She searched with the Search Fund Accelerator at their New Orleans office and purchased Tower Products, a chemicals manufacturing company in the Lehigh Valley, in August of 2023 following a two year search.
