Nick Oberhouse is CEO of DAWGS Vacant Property Security, a Chicago-based company that nationally secures vacant and distressed properties with steel door and window guards for housing authorities, municipalities, and commercial property owners. Nick sourced and acquired DAWGS in October 2021 through a search fund backed by NextGen Growth Partners, following an 18-month search. Over the next three and a half years he grew EBITDA more than 5x, culminating in NextGen’s exit to The Riverside Company in March 2025 at a firm-record MOIC. He continues to lead DAWGS under Riverside’s ownership, driving market expansion organically and inorganically.
